At the Davison Golf Academy we believe the fastest way to improvement is through private, one on one golf lessons. With private lessons the student and teacher can more easily determine goals, assess performance, and formulate a plan of improvement. Each student begins with a one hour initial evaluation.

Initial Evaluation

There are several factors that effect a golf shot. When you take lessons at the Davison Golf Academy we will evaluate your golf swing based on the six most important factors. After this initial evaluation we can create a lesson plan tailored to your specific needs. The six factors in order of importance are:

• Set Up - The set up includes the grip, posture, alignment and balance.
• Squareness of the Clubface.
• Swing Plane & Swing Path.
• Body Angles.
• Weight Shift.
• Clubhead Speed.
